About The Position
Sodexo is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition care at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, a 431-bed acute care hospital and the academic teaching hospital for Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO. The position will work approximately 24 hours per week with excellent benefits, and has the ability to work additional hours based on clinical staffing needs. The role will report to the Clinical Nutrition Manager.
Requirements
- Be a Registered Dietitian and have Missouri licensure.
- Meet eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
- 7+ months general supervision.
- 3 years experienced specialized practitioner in a clinical specialty.

Responsibilities
- Provide coverage of various acute care units including ICU, oncology, geriatric, surgery, medical, cardiology, and gastrointestinal.
- Provide medical nutrition therapy including enteral and parenteral nutrition support.
- Develop strong rapport with the nursing and medical staff to provide exemplary care to patients, staff and community.
- Work with dietetic interns from Saint Louis University for acute care clinical training.
- Participate in patient satisfaction and quality improvement projects.
