About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition care at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, a 431-bed acute care hospital and the academic teaching hospital for Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO. The position will work approximately 24 hours per week with excellent benefits and the ability to work additional hours based on clinical staffing needs. The role reports to the Clinical Nutrition Manager.

Requirements

Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) eligible by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
Missouri licensure.
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
OR Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) for those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24.
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
7+ months general supervision experience.
3 years experienced specialized practitioner in a clinical specialty.

Responsibilities

Provide coverage of various acute care units including ICU, oncology, geriatric, surgery, medical, cardiology, and gastrointestinal.
Provide medical nutrition therapy including enteral and parenteral nutrition support.
Develop strong rapport with the nursing and medical staff to provide exemplary care to patients, staff and community.
Work with dietetic interns from Saint Louis University for acute care clinical training.
Participate in patient satisfaction and quality improvement projects.
