About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for an inpatient position at CHA Everett Hospital, a 162-bed acute care and psychiatric facility in Everett, MA. Everett Hospital is part of Cambridge Health Alliance, a three hospital health system that is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Public Health, Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Tufts University School of Medicine.

Requirements

Registered Dietitian credential and licensure in MA
excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
strong time management and organizational skills
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (for those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24)
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice

Responsibilities

work primarily in an inpatient acute care setting, providing top-quality nutrition care to patients on med/surg, ICU, and adult/geriatric behavioral health units
be flexible, reliable and knowledgeable, serving as a respected member of the interdisciplinary team
act as a community and clinical educator, giving presentations on a variety of nutrition topics as needed
be involved as a clinical instructor and preceptor for dietetic interns
