About The Position

Your nutritional know-how can help patients in your community live happier, healthier lives. Sodexo is seeking a Full Time Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at OU Medical Center at OU Health. This is a large teaching facility located in Oklahoma City, OK. Position will work full time with benefits and primary coverage will be on general medical surgical units. Additional duties could include flex coverage on other hospital units and rounding with medical teams. Schedule will be M-F with rotating weekends and occasional holidays.

Requirements

• Have ability to creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision and use good judgment to make decisions and work within a self-directed team oriented work environment
• Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
• Have effective written and verbal communication for all hospital and departmental programs and activities
• Possess great education and training skills to provide nutrition information to a wide variety of audiences
• Licensed in Oklahoma
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

• Position will be primarily responsible for covering general medical and surgical units as well as occasional weekends and holidays.
• Have excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups including critical care unit rounding teams
• Performs comprehensive nutritional evaluations and follow up including experience with nutrition support assessments
