About The Position

Reporting to the Manager of Primary Health Care NW-N, this position offers a variety of experiences throughout SHA (Former Keewatin Yatthe RHA) including providing nutrition expertise to patients (clients, residents) throughout various SHA facilities and community settings to achieve nutrition and health outcomes. The dietitian is responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy through primarily individual outpatient counselling with a focus on chronic disease prevention and management. This position also provides services in acute care, long term care, and acts as a consultant in food services. The successful candidate will have the ability to function independently and as a member of an interprofessional team in a culturally sensitive manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Registered/eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada (DC)
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Dietitians
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
