Dietitian Clinical (Part Time)
About The Position
The Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long-term care facility in Hanson, Kentucky, committed to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity, and providing compassionate care. The facility is seeking a part-time Clinical Dietitian to support residents’ nutritional care within a team-centered environment. The role conducts detailed nutritional assessments, prepares diet histories and evaluations of resident food patterns, documents nutritional care plans and written evaluations, and participates in team meetings. Work is typically performed in a food service setting. Applicants must hold a Kentucky dietitian license and be registered as a dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Required credentials must be maintained throughout employment. A fingerprint-supported national background check will be conducted before an offer of employment. The agency is prohibited from hiring employees with convictions identified in 906 KAR 1:190.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as a dietitian by the Kentucky Board of Licensure and Certification for Dietitians and Nutritionists.
- Must be registered as a dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Must maintain required licenses, certifications, or other credentials throughout employment.
- A fingerprint-supported national background check is conducted before an offer of employment; the agency is prohibited from hiring employees with convictions identified in 906 KAR 1:190.
