About The Position

The Dietitian Inpatient (Registered Dietitian) is a member of a multidisciplinary team that assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates all aspects of a patient's nutrition care. The Dietitian Inpatient is able to use validated tools to identify patients that require nutrition interventions or that have the potential for developing nutrition related problems. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree In Food & Nutrition or Dietetics Coursework/Training and Completion of an approved Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Internship
  • Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification --or-- Washington Nutritionist Certification
  • Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Dietetic Internship with a strong clinical nutrition component which includes focused training in pediatric nutrition.
