About The Position
Avoca Specialty Care, a 45-bed long-term care skilled nursing community, is seeking a compassionate Dietary/Food Service Leader to join Care Initiatives as a Dietary Services Manager (DSM). In this role, you will provide comprehensive care that positively influences the lives of residents during their healthcare journey. Care Initiatives operates over forty skilled nursing communities across Iowa, focusing on exceptional care and support. This position offers the opportunity to apply your skills and compassion to make a meaningful difference.
Requirements
- Documented completion of State-approved Food Services Supervisor Course.
- Demonstrated skills in quantity food preparation and service.
- Willingness to complete training in Food, Safety, Sanitation and Modified Diets.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Food Protection Manager and ServSafe® Certification preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare dietary setting a plus!
