About The Position

Care Initiatives is seeking a compassionate Dietary Services Manager (DSM) to provide comprehensive care that truly matters in their skilled nursing communities across Iowa. This role offers the opportunity to apply skills and demonstrate compassion, positively influencing the lives of residents during their healthcare journey. Care Initiatives operates over forty (40) skilled nursing communities and is committed to providing exceptional care and support at every stage of the healthcare journey.

Requirements

• Documented completion of State-approved Food Services Supervisor Course
• Demonstrated skills in quantity food preparation and service
• Willingness to complete training in Food, Safety, Sanitation and Modified Diets

Nice To Haves

• Certified Food Protection Manager and ServSafe® Certification preferred
• Experience in a healthcare dietary setting a plus!
