About The Position

This is a Registered Dietitian position in an acute hospital setting. The assignment length is 13 or 26 weeks, with the traveler choosing the duration. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 5x8s, from 0800-1700, with some flexibility. No weekends are required. First-time travelers are accepted if they have at least 2 years of experience. The facility is a Magnet, Level II Trauma hospital and a USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska, with 407 total staffed beds. Charting is done via Epic, and parking is free.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• License in hand is preferred, but pending license is accepted.
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric experience is highly preferred.
• First-time travelers with at least 2 years of experience are accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide dietary services as a Registered Dietitian.
• Work a Monday-Friday schedule, 5x8s, from 0800-1700 with minor flexibility.
• No weekends required.
• No on-call duties.
• No block schedule accommodation.
• All time off requests must be included in the submittal.
• Traveler can be called off for 1, 8-hour shift per 2 weeks.
