About The Position

The Dietary Manager plans, organizes, and directs the daily operations of the dietary department. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. It also oversees the preparation of nutritionally balanced meals that meet regulatory and dietary guidelines, leads and develops the dietary team, collaborates with facility staff, and manages budgets and operational goals to support high-quality food service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification and compliance with state certification requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Food services supervisory experience in an institutional long-term care or hospital setting.
