About The Position

The Dietary Manager oversees daily dining service operations in a healthcare environment, ensuring efficient food delivery and high standards of quality, safety, and resident satisfaction. The role coordinates with healthcare professionals to accommodate dietary needs and manages staff schedules, training, performance, and development. It also maintains dining-service records and ensures compliance with applicable health, safety, sanitation, regulatory, and organizational standards.

Requirements

Indiana certification as a Certified Dietary Manager.
At least three years of supervisory experience in a food-service healthcare setting; long-term care experience is preferred.
ServSafe Certification.
Basic knowledge of dietary needs and food safety regulations.
Proficiency in records management and documentation practices.
Strong communication and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in healthcare settings.
High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
Additional training in customer service or conflict resolution.
