About The Position

White Oak of Charlotte is currently accepting applications for a Dietary Cook with a $1,500 Sign-on Bonus. The sign-on bonus is paid after 90 days, 180 days, and 1 year of completion. This position offers both Part-time and Full-time hours for 1st and 2nd shifts. The facility is a 180-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located at 4009 Craig Ave. Charlotte, NC 28211. White Oak Charlotte is a drug and tobacco-free facility and an EOE.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare or institutional setting.
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary instructions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to dietary needs and facility standards.
• Ensure food quality and presentation meet expectations.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
