Dietary Concierge - Order Clerk (Jackson, MI)
About The Position
Join our EPIC team at Cascade Senior Care Center! The Culinary Concierge is in charge of capturing meal orders for our residents and guests. Our patients and guests look forward to their meals every day and we look forward to providing them with great food that invokes happiness and joy. How you will help people every day: Greeting of guests to the building, providing explanation of our menu, and ordering process for our daily specials as well as our Always Available Menu. Meeting and talking with guests on a daily basis and taking meal orders. Acquiring resident and guest preferences and collaborating with the RDN or Exec Chef on input in the Nutrition Management program. Printing of meal production sheet for each meal and meal tickets. Updating of the daily menu for the dining rooms. Assist with the serving of meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance and prepare and serve food and snacks in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and established policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be knowledgeable of food service laws, regulations and guidelines governing
- Good interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel.
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative Care!
