LPN Nurse (Jackson, MI)
About The Position
Join our EPIC team at Cascade Senior Care Center! We offer great staff ratios, a supportive management team, and 4-star staffing. This role provides an opportunity to promote hospitality and excellent customer service, foster a positive healing environment, and perform a variety of treatments including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis. You will administer medications, advise patients and families on care plans, and provide preventative and supportive care. Additionally, you will oversee the Nurse Aide team, providing direction, training, and contributing to evaluations.
Requirements
- A current license to practice as an LPN in the state of Michigan.
- Current CPR certification.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
- A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!

Responsibilities
- Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors.
- Promote a positive, healthy environment through kind words and encouragement.
- Perform a variety of treatments, including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
- Administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician.
- Advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
- Provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
- Oversee the Nurse Aide team, including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.
