About The Position

Juniper Communities is seeking a Dietary Aide who enjoys a fast-paced work environment, working with others, and is dedicated to the safety of residents and team members. The role is part of the dining team and provides restaurant-style meal service to residents. The Dietary Aide assists the Executive Chef/Dining Services Director with meal preparation and provides excellent customer service.

Full-time positions are available, with a schedule of 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Every other weekend and every other holiday are required. Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Experience in culinary arts or food service.
• Knowledge of volume food preparation.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate food service equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide restaurant-style meal service to residents as a member of the dining team.
• Take meal orders and deliver meals to tables or resident rooms as needed.
• Set up meals quickly and accurately, presenting them neatly and attractively.
• Clear tables and assist with garbage and dishwashing as needed.
• Assist the Executive Chef/Dining Services Director in preparing meals.
• Provide excellent customer service.
