About The Position

Clean2TheKore is hiring Dietary Aides for the Food & Nutrition department at a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. The role helps maintain a clean, organized kitchen and supports distribution of food and supplies to patients and staff, the café, doctors’ lounge, and catering.

The position includes assisting with food production using standard recipes, following food safety and sanitation practices, and complying with hospital requirements for OSHA, infection control, and HIPAA. Dietary Aides use Computrition, the hospital’s food service system, and are expected to assist patients, staff, and guests with a smile using AIDET.

Pay is $16 per hour. Two shifts are open: 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.–8:00 p.m. Employees work every other weekend. Before starting, candidates must complete a background check and drug screen and meet hospital health requirements, including a TB test from the last three months, proof of specified immunizations or declinations, and a respirator fit test.

Requirements

• Knowledge of patient safety and HACCP food safety rules.
• Able to work every other weekend.
• Complete a background check and drug screen before starting.
• Meet hospital health requirements: TB test from the last three months; proof of Tdap, MMR, Varicella, and Hep B immunizations or declination; flu immunization or declination; and a respirator fit test.

Nice To Haves

• Food Handler or ServSafe certificate, or willingness to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
• Comfort using computer software to enter and look up information.
