About The Position
WesleyLife is hiring a Dietary Aide at Wesley on Grand, a senior living community in Des Moines, Iowa. The role supports food service for residents by serving meals, delivering room trays, preparing and clearing dining areas, transporting food carts, and keeping work areas clean and sanitary. This is a PRN, as-needed position. Possible shifts are 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m., or 4:00 p.m.–6:30 p.m., Monday through Sunday; applicants must be open to working some weekends. Responsibilities
- Perform duties related to food table service, including serving hot and cold food portions to residents.
- Deliver meal trays to residents’ rooms while providing excellent customer service.
- Set up and clear tables.
- Transport food carts.
- Clean work areas and maintain safe, sanitary conditions.
