The Dietary Aide is responsible for the operation of food service equipment, food sanitation, and the handling and service of food to guests. This role involves delivering food carts to patient floors, returning them to the dish room, washing pots and pans, and operating the dish machine. The Dietary Aide also participates in the tray line assembly process, maintains the cleanliness of floors and the kitchen, and understands proper lifting techniques and kitchen safety.
