About The Position

Healthcare Services Group is hiring a part-time Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. The role supports nutritious meals and positive resident experiences while contributing to a supportive team. The stated schedule is Tuesday and Sunday. The Dietary Aide assists with food preparation, serves meals according to residents’ dietary needs and portion sizes, and cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas. The position requires following food safety and sanitation guidelines, interacting positively with residents, staff, and guests, and completing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in food service or a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
Ability to lift or carry up to 30 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds; stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required where mandated by state or county law.
Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities
