About The Position

The Dietary Aide performs tasks to ensure the timely preparation and delivery of nutritious, attractive meals and supplements to residents according to physician’s orders and in compliance with Federal, State, and Company requirements. The role maintains a safe and sanitary work environment and supports effective teamwork and consumer service.

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization, and safety.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in food service.
• Prior experience in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver meals and supplements to residents in a timely manner, following physician’s orders and applicable requirements.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Attend required meetings and in-services.
• Promptly report problems and needs to the supervisor.
• Promote teamwork and cooperation with other staff.
• Present a professional image through dress, behavior, and speech.
• Follow Company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
• Protect all patient and resident rights.
