About The Position

The Dietary Aide performs food-service tasks to ensure timely preparation and delivery of nutritious, attractive meals and supplements to residents according to physician’s orders and in compliance with Federal, State, and Company requirements. The role maintains a safe and sanitary work environment, attends required meetings and in-services, promptly reports problems and needs to the supervisor, and promotes teamwork with other staff. The Dietary Aide presents a professional image, follows Company standards for resolving consumer concerns, and protects patient and resident rights.

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization, and safety.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred.
