About The Position
The Dietary Aide works in a senior community kitchen, helping prepare and serve meals and snacks while maintaining clean, safe kitchen and dining areas. The role supports residents and the community team and follows facility protocols, recipes, dietary needs, and meal orders. This is a part-time position at a facility in Forks Township, Pennsylvania, with a 4 p.m.–7 p.m. shift. The schedule includes every other weekend and every other holiday. High school students are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Passion for helping seniors.
- Desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere for residents, family, friends, and team members.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Availability to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation.
- Assist with kitchen cleanup.
- Clean and set up dining areas.
- Serve food to residents.
- Assist in preparing and serving snacks.
- Assist with kitchen inventory.
- Adhere to facility protocols and procedures.
- Follow instructions for recipes, dietary needs, and meal orders.
- Maintain cleanliness.
- Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and dating.
