About The Position

The Dietary Aide is responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards in the assigned work area and carefully handling equipment and other items used in performing assigned duties. The role supports food and nutrition operations through cleaning, dishwashing, supply stocking, meal-cart delivery, and related duties.

Requirements

Some physical effort or strain is required, which may involve lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, or stooping.
Must be able to remain on their feet for long periods.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean assigned areas according to the work schedule.
Check dish machine temperature gauges and record the readings on the temperature log.
Thoroughly clean the dish room at the end of the shift.
Put away incoming vendor supplies, rotate stock, and ensure labels are visible.
Run late trays when assigned.
Deliver food carts to the floors and return them to the kitchen.
Wash pots, pans, and utensils when assigned.
Unload and wash carts.
Operate the dish machine.
Post menus on the main boards in the dining rooms.
