About The Position

The Dietary Aide assists in the kitchen before and after meals are served to patients. The role also helps serve cafeteria customers, including visitors and employees, and maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, utensils, and food plates and containers in a clean and orderly condition. The Dietary Aide must comply with applicable state and federal regulations, including those relating to pathogens, infection control, hazardous materials, and fire safety.

Requirements

• Food Handlers Permit required.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the kitchen before and after meals are served to patients.
