About The Position

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the Dietary Aide performs duties related to the preparation, service, and transport of meals for patients, staff, and guests. Duties may include taking inventory and maintaining records; stocking food and supplies; preparing, setting up, and serving food; transporting food and supplies; cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas between uses; and maintaining accurate cash operations. The role may also involve preparing, delivering, collecting, and reviewing daily patient menus to ensure selections comply with prescribed diets; transporting food and supplies within or between hospitals; and preparing and delivering patient formulas.
