About The Position
The Dietary Aide/Server supports meal service and kitchen operations, including meal plating and kitchen cleanup. The role also helps ensure residents receive high-quality customer service and assists with dining room setup, meal service, food preparation, cleaning, and special events. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor or Executive Director.
Responsibilities
- Plate meals and clean up the kitchen.
- Provide high-quality customer service to residents.
- Set up dining room tables for meal times.
- Serve resident meals.
- Clean the dining room, kitchen, or other areas as directed by management.
- Assist with preparing snacks, desserts, salads, and condiments for service.
- Transport trash and linen to the disposal area.
- Follow and complete a daily task spreadsheet to ensure work is completed.
- Note refrigeration temperatures.
- Assist with special events and catering functions.
- Assist with plating and delivering meals to remote locations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or Executive Director.
