About The Position
The Dietary Aide/Server supports meal service at Mill Creek through meal plating and kitchen cleanup. The role helps provide high-quality customer service to residents and may include preparing dining areas, serving meals, assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting special events and catering. The position also involves completing daily task records and noting refrigeration temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Plate meals and clean up the kitchen.
- Ensure the highest quality of customer service is available for residents.
- Set up dining room tables for meal times.
- Serve resident meals.
- Clean the dining room, kitchen, or other areas as directed by management.
- Assist with preparing snacks, desserts, salads, and condiments for service.
- Transport trash and linen to the disposal area.
- Follow and complete a daily task spreadsheet to ensure all work is completed.
- Note refrigeration temperatures.
- Assist with special events and catering functions.
- Assist with plating and delivering meals to remote locations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or Executive Director.
