About The Position
Glen Oaks Hospital is a 54-bed private mental health hospital in a relaxed setting in Greenville, Texas. Our comfortable, homelike atmosphere is conducive to healing for the adults and seniors we treat. Our greatest asset is the staff, comprised of psychiatrists, professional nurses, social workers and therapists. These individuals work as a team to uphold Glen Oaks Hospital’s reputation for excellence in helping patients resolve mental health and addiction problems. For over 30 years, Glen Oaks Hospital has been a leader in the field of mental health and chemical dependency care, and our staff is dedicated to researching the latest treatment approaches and applying this to our overall treatment philosophy. The Dietary Aide is responsible for the daily preparation and presentation of meals. Meals should be both aesthetically pleasing and tasty. Meals will be prepared in accordance with established approved menus and policies and procedures. The Dietary Aide is directly responsible for the sanitation of the department.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One (1) year experience in a hospital or school setting preferred.
- Must have or obtain SafeServ / Food Handler’s Certificate within 30 days of hire date.
Responsibilities
- Daily preparation and presentation of meals that are both aesthetically pleasing and tasty.
- Prepare meals in accordance with established approved menus and policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the sanitation of the department.
