About The Position
The Diet Clerk supports food service and tray delivery at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Center, ensuring patient needs are met. The role includes producing menu and tray-related materials, responding to diet office calls, distributing dietitian consults, and maintaining consistency between hospital-wide and CBORD computer information systems. The position is full time and has a rotating shift.
Requirements
- Food service and/or customer service experience is required.
- Weekend availability is required.
Responsibilities
- Print menus, tray tickets, tallies, and nourishment labels.
- Answer diet office phones, handle calls appropriately, and maintain records of special tray ticket requests.
- Distribute dietitian-related consults appropriately.
- Ensure consistency of hospital-wide and CBORD computer information systems, including ADTs and diet orders.
- Complete other clerical duties as assigned.
