Diesel Technician – Bobcat Compact Equipment
About The Position
Technicians at Leppo can earn $20–$35+/hr based on skill + bi-annual tool allowance + quarterly bonuses. You already know skid steers, mini-exes, and telehandlers inside and out. Here’s how we stack up as your next shop. This position requires the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including maintaining regular and punctual attendance. Duties may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, twisting, pulling, pushing, and effective communication with others, in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and applicable federal, state, and local standards.
Requirements
- Experience on compact construction equipment (or the mechanical drive to learn it)
- A troubleshooter’s mindset: find it, fix it, get it back on the job
- A customer-first attitude, because you’re the face of our service
- A team player who steps in when the shop gets busy
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing compact equipment: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
- Keeping the rental fleet ready to work with routine maintenance
- Running computer-based diagnostics to find the problem fast
- Documenting repairs and managing work orders
