About The Position

Thermo King Northeast is hiring a full-time Diesel Technician at its Saugus, Massachusetts location. The technician performs preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on medium- and heavy-duty vehicles; completes repair documentation and parts usage forms; communicates with supervisors, team members, and customers; and responds to road service calls as required. The position involves working in and around vehicles and safely using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment. Requirements

High school diploma, technical school degree, or equivalent experience.
At least one year of experience in automotive, truck, or bus repair.
Own and maintain the hand tools required for daily job functions.
Proficiency with computer operations and diagnostics.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, twist, stand, walk, and work in and around vehicles for extended periods.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment safely.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, diagnostic work, and repairs on a variety of medium- and heavy-duty vehicles.
Complete repair orders and parts usage forms accurately.
Maintain clear communication with supervisors, team members, and customers.
Respond to road service calls as required.
