About The Position

Hendrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT of Concord is seeking an experienced Diesel Truck Technician to join their team. They are offering a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 to assist with relocation. The dealership is a high-volume Stellantis store in the Southeast and is looking for technicians with existing expertise in Ram diesel and Cummins, rather than entry-level candidates. The pay is up to $50 per hour flat rate, and technicians are paid for all hours worked, including warranty time. The dealership is located in the greater Charlotte metro area, which is described as a growing city with an affordable cost of living and access to various recreational areas. The shop has a stable team of over 40 technicians with long tenure.

Requirements

Valid Driver's License.
5+ years of dealership or high-volume diesel shop experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Stellantis/Chrysler Level 2 or higher certification (or equivalent CDJR dealership background).
Ram 1500 EcoDiesel, 2500/3500 6.7L Cummins platform experience.
Heavy-line expertise in diesel fuel systems, DPF, SCR/DEF.EGR, and aftertreatment.
Proficient with wiTECH, Cummins INSITE, ALLDATA, and Stellantis repair protocols.
Mechanical knowledge, diesel mechanics, diesel truck repair.

Nice To Haves

Diesel technical training.
ASE diesel certifications (L2, A9).

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel trucks.
Work with Ram diesel and Cummins platforms.
Service diesel fuel systems, DPF, SCR/DEF, EGR, and aftertreatment systems.
Utilize diagnostic tools and software such as wiTECH, Cummins INSITE, and ALLDATA.
Adhere to Stellantis repair protocols.
Maintain low comeback rates and clean repair orders.
Interact with customers, service advisors, and the service manager.
