Diesel Technician
About The Position
Diesel Technicians work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean places and providing friendly service. They interact with customers and drivers from across the country, helping improve their travel experience. The role includes troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues, assisting customers with roadside services, and providing preventative maintenance. Technicians must prioritize customer safety and satisfaction and comply with company safety policies and procedures. The position requires working a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed, and the ability to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card, paid for by Love’s.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 75+ pounds while working in close quarters.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, air conditioning, or engine components.
- Assist customers with roadside services.
- Provide preventative maintenance services.
- Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction while complying with company safety policies and procedures.
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
- Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation; Love’s pays for it.
