About The Position

Clarke is seeking a Diesel Technician who is flexible enough to work at our customer's location (use of Service Truck included) OR in the shop, as needed. In this role, the technician performs truck and trailer repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, runs diagnostics on vehicles, and works closely with other team members to meet company goals. Requirements

• Truck & Trailer repair experience required
• Must be willing to work outside
• Valid State Driver's License required
• Must be able to obtain a DOT medcard
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Allison Experience or Certificate is a plus!
• Welding experience preferred
• Air brake Experience required
• CDL is preferred

Responsibilities

• Position may be mobile or in shop
• Truck and Trailer Repair Experience Required
• Service and repair work, drive train, steering, electrical, suspension and brakes
• Troubleshooting and inspections
• Good computer and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Use of Service Truck when working mobile
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
