About The Position

Clarke is seeking a Diesel Technician to perform truck and trailer repair and maintenance work. This role requires flexibility to work at customer locations using a provided Service Truck or in the shop as needed. The technician will run diagnostics on vehicles and collaborate with team members to achieve company objectives. Requirements

• Truck and Trailer Repair Experience
• Good computer skills
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit
• Ability to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance
• Air brake Experience
• Valid State Driver's License
• Ability to obtain a DOT medcard
• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI)
• Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

Nice To Haves

• Tech School Diesel Program completion
• Allison Experience or Certificate
• Welding experience
• CDL is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform truck and trailer repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards
• Run diagnostics on vehicles
• Work closely with other team members to meet company goals
• Service and repair work, drive train, steering, electrical, suspension and brakes
• Perform troubleshooting and inspections
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions
