About The Position

Hendrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT of Concord is seeking an experienced Diesel Truck Technician, open to candidates nationwide. This is a high-volume Stellantis store in the Southeast, offering up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus to assist with relocation. The dealership is looking for experienced technicians, not trainees, and rewards existing expertise. Technicians are paid for every hour turned, including warranty time, with ALLDATA time considered paid time. The dealership is located in the greater Charlotte metro area, known for its affordability, strong school systems, and access to outdoor recreation. The service department has over 40 technicians with significant tenure, indicating a stable work environment.

Requirements

Valid Driver's License required.
5+ years of dealership or high-volume diesel shop experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Stellantis/Chrysler Level 2 or higher certification (or equivalent CDJR dealership background).
Ram 1500 EcoDiesel, 2500/3500 6.7L Cummins platform experience.
Heavy-line expertise in diesel fuel systems, DPF, SCR/DEF, EGR, and aftertreatment.
Proficient with wiTECH, Cummins INSITE, ALLDATA, and Stellantis repair protocols.
Technicians who take pride in low comeback rates and clean repair orders.
Mechanical knowledge, diesel mechanics, diesel truck repair.

Nice To Haves

Diesel technical training preferred.
ASE diesel certifications (L2, A9) are a strong plus.
Cummins-certified experience.
CDJR dealership experience.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and maintenance on Ram diesel trucks.
Work with diagnostic tools such as wiTECH and Cummins INSITE.
Handle repairs related to diesel fuel systems, DPF, SCR/DEF, EGR, and aftertreatment.
Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently.
Interact with customers, service advisors, and the service manager.
Operate power tools and test equipment safely.
Adhere to Stellantis repair protocols.
