About The Position

Campbell Supply, the largest Freightliner dealership in the Tri-State Area, is seeking a Diesel Technician/Mechanic for a commission-based role. As a family-owned business since 1967 with seven locations across New Jersey, we specialize in commercial and emergency vehicles. Requirements

• Extensive experience as a commercial truck or diesel technician.
• Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and service software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, document, and repair engines, transmissions, and major components using company-supplied laptops and OEM software.
• Perform troubleshooting, service, preventative maintenance, and reconditioning.
• Follow proper warranty procedures and complete required documentation.
• Attend OEM and dealer training (online and in-person).
• Collaborate with drivers and co-workers to get the job done right.
