About The Position

Empire Truck Sales, LLC is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Service Technician who is a self-starter, quick learner, and ready to take the next step in their career. This is a full-time position with a night shift. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in heavy trucks, equipment, or fleet maintenance, or related industries. Requirements

• Prior experience and/or formal education in diesel truck, vehicle/automotive, or equipment repair is required.
• Must supply standard diesel technician tools.
• Basic proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and diagnostic software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.
• Motivated with a strong drive to succeed.
• Must be able to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Freightliner, Detroit, or Cummins engine repair is a strong plus.
• DTNA training and certifications are highly valued.
• Class A CDL with a valid medical card is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on work in diesel truck, vehicle/automotive, or equipment repair.
• Troubleshoot complex issues using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.
• Maintain a safe and drug-free workplace.
