About The Position
Greenbush Logistics, Inc. currently has a career opportunity available for an entry level Diesel Mechanic (Class C Technician) at its terminal location in Mansura, Louisiana. This role involves performing repairs and preventative maintenance checks and services on tractors/trailers and assigned equipment, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, air and hydraulic systems, and ensuring equipment is prepared for operation. The position requires adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and accurate completion of maintenance forms and records. Requirements
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment.
- Ability to operate forklift/powered truck.
- Ability to read, understand, and apply information contained in company maintenance manuals, technical manuals, policies and common schematic diagrams.
- Knowledge of and ability to apply required company safety procedures.
- Ability to complete applicable maintenance forms and records.

Responsibilities
- Performs repairs and preventative maintenance checks and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, air and hydraulic systems.
- Prepares tractor/trailers and assigned equipment for operation.
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools, repair parts, equipment and assigned vehicles.
- Adjust operating mechanisms.
- Determines extent of corrective action and repair parts required to correct malfunctions.
- Can replace engine components and accessories.
- Capable of operating power tools and equipment.
- Obtains replacement parts and turns in unserviceable parts to part section while adhering to policies and required procedures.
- Reads, understands, and applies information contained in company maintenance manuals, technical manuals, policies and common schematic diagrams.
- Knows and applies required company safety procedures.
- Completes applicable maintenance forms and records i.e. PM sheets.
- Capable of operating forklift/powered truck.
