About The Position
R+L Carriers is hiring a Diesel Mechanic at its Manchester, New Hampshire Service Center. The role involves day-to-day maintenance of fleet equipment, including preventive maintenance and minor-to-major repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts. Depending on the location, work may also include maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, and dollies, as well as welding. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. The listed pay is $34.00 to $42.93 per hour.
Requirements
- Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
- Ability to handle major repairs.
- Experience with air conditioning and electrical systems.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Must have own tools.
- Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins and Detroit engines.
- Experience using Cetaris for work orders.
- Experience in trailer preventive maintenance and repairs.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred.
- LPMECH.
