The Mechanic must have diesel engine and hydraulic system experience. Job Duties Including, but not limited to: Trouble shoot problems with machinery, Repair engines, engine-cooling systems, drivetrain parts, brake systems, and basic electrical parts, Remove and replace parts of hydraulic systems and tool attachments (shears, forks, grapples), Remove and repair some body parts, ladders, platforms, catwalks, and engine covers, Perform limited torch cutting and welding, Drive company mechanic truck to various yards in a given region, Clean up work area at the end of shift, Inspect the safety of the equipment, Regular attendance and punctuality are essential job functions, Organizing materials to have more effective use of space, Dispose of various waste materials in the appropriate manner, Inspection to ensure cleanup is completed, Effective housekeeping in workplace area is an ongoing operation for safety and better hygienic conditions for all team members.
