The Diesel Mechanic will work directly with Project Managers, the Facility Manager, CDL drivers, other Fleet Mechanics and so on. Working with that many people requires patience, cooperation, problem solving and thorough communication. Working hours are dictated completely by the length of time it takes to complete work within deadlines, but it could be anticipated that a Fleet Mechanic may labor for roughly 45 hours a week.
