About The Position

As a Mechanic, you’ll perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on FieldForce diesel equipment. This field-based role includes on-site work at customer locations and participation in an on-call rotation. You’ll work independently, solve mechanical issues, and keep operations running safely and efficiently.

This role will be based out of the Trevose, PA branch location and operates in both shop and field environments, including work in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of diesel repair experience or equivalent training.
• Strong diagnostic skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with engine diagnostic tools and electrical components.
• Willingness to learn and be part of a growing team.
• Ability to work in shop and field environments and in all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Tier 4 engines and emission systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems using diagnostic tools.
• Perform routine inspections and Tier 4 engine maintenance.
• Rebuild or repair engines, emissions systems, and pump components.
• Maintain detailed records and report equipment conditions to the manager.
• Follow all safety procedures and environmental standards.
• Participate in the weekly on-call schedule and respond to urgent repairs.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely.
• Travel to job sites as needed, approximately 50% of the time.
