About The Position

Martz Bus is looking for experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our maintenance team in Stroudsburg, PA. We are seeking a Master Technician, but qualified A & B Level Technicians are also encouraged to apply. Pay and placement will be determined by experience, certifications, and skill level. This position offers a competitive hourly wage with a night shift differential.

Requirements

• Heavy-duty diesel or motor coach experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in diesel mechanics and HVAC

Nice To Haves

• Master Technician qualifications
• 5+ years of heavy-duty diesel or motor coach experience
• State Inspection License
• EPA 608/609 Certification
• CDL with Passenger Endorsement, or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel motor coaches
• Troubleshoot engines, transmissions, electrical, air and HVAC systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues
