About The Position

As a Diesel Truck/Trailer Maintenance Mechanic at Ecowaste Solutions, you will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on tractor and trailer equipment. The role includes completing work orders with accurate coding and detailed descriptions of the condition, cause, and correction, as well as completing warranty processes. Safety, accuracy, and attention to detail are critical.

Requirements

• Experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair, or a technical school degree or certification in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance with a specialty in Diesel.
• Experience in advanced diagnostics.

Nice To Haves

• Valid state-issued CDL driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fleet equipment safely and correctly.
• Conduct failure analysis, repairs, and rebuilds of fleet equipment components correctly.
• Inform management about housekeeping opportunities, harmful working conditions, and unsafe work practices, and suggest corrective actions.
• Identify and inform management about broken tools and missing supplies needed for fleet repairs, and take steps to resolve the issue if possible.
• Complete complex work orders with proper descriptions of condition, cause, and correction, including warranty return tags when needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
