About The Position

This position is responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance on diesel engine trucks and trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

Current Arkansas Driver’s License.
Must pass Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment.
Basic mechanical or maintenance skills.
Must supply your own tools for minimum maintenance.
Ability to lift 60 pounds.
Ability to work on stairs and ladders up to 30 feet.
Ability to bend, stretch, reach.
Ability to work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors.
Ability to use basic electrical, pneumatic and hand tools.
Ability to read and understand policies, procedures and regulations.
Ability to document information.
Ability to communicate with others written and verbally.
Mechanical/maintenance skills listed in work history or skills section of application.
Minimum 180 day waiting period from previous Tyson employment.
Must be willing to work A, B, C or D shift.
Must be 18 years of age.
Ability to provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States.
Pass a urinalysis screening which is part of the post-offer health assessment.
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers to include oil changes, greasing, repairing or replacing semi tires, brake repair or replacement on semi-trucks and trailers.
Maintain a safe work environment.
Adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.
