We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated, and well organized, self-starter with strong commitment to safety Vehicle/Fleet Mechanic for our Cleveland, OH location. This mechanic should be a strong teammate with ability to work well with fellow mechanics, drivers, and operations personnel. When it comes to safety at Air Products ZERO IS ACHIEVABLE. Requirements

  • High School diploma/equivalent
  • Strong mechanical background, with above average computer experience/skills
  • Energetic, highly motivated and well organized, self-starter with strong commitment to safety
  • Strong team player with ability to work well with fellow mechanics/drivers/operations personnel
  • Solid work history
  • Ability to drive a tractor
  • Welding knowledge and experience
  • Electrical troubleshooting skills on 12-volt DC circuits
  • Diesel engine troubleshooting and minor repair experience

Nice To Haves

  • Class A CDL preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary on trailers and tractors
  • Document/record work performed electronically on the computer
  • Perform road repairs when necessary
  • Perform cryogenic pump maintenance
  • Perform electrical/electronic repairs and installs on tractors and trailers
  • Calibrate pump discharge meters
  • Minor welding and fabricating as required

  • Tuesday - Saturday, start time between 11am - 1pm
