About The Position
EquipmentShare is hiring a Diesel Fleet Technician at our onsite facility in Hubbard, TX. This role is crucial for maintaining our fleet of trucks and trailers, ensuring they meet new state or DOT standards and are ready for operation. The technician will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections, contributing to the company's mission of transforming the construction industry through innovative technology and reliable equipment.
Requirements
- Valid drivers license required
- At least 2 years of diesel mechanic experience required
- Welding experience required
- Air Brake Certification required
- DOT Inspector Certification required
- Must have proper tools
- Availability to work evening and weekend shifts
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs on malfunction or breakdown on trucks and trailers.
- Preventative Maintenance.
- Inspect, repair, maintain, and test trucks and trailers at maintenance intervals.
- Maintain trucks and trailers to new state or DOT standards.
- Maintain and repair brakes, braking systems, and all related chassis components.
- Complete annual inspections.
