About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Diesel Fleet Technician at our onsite facility in Hubbard, TX. This role involves performing repairs and maintenance on trucks and trailers, ensuring they meet new state or DOT standards. The technician will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining various components, including brakes and chassis systems, and completing annual inspections. Requirements

  • Valid drivers license required
  • At least 2 years of diesel mechanic experience required
  • Welding experience required
  • Air Brake Certification required
  • Must have proper tools
  • Availability to work evening and weekend shifts

Nice To Haves

  • DOT Inspector Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs on malfunction or breakdown on trucks and trailers.
  • Preventative Maintenance.
  • Inspect, repair, maintain, and test trucks and trailers at maintenance intervals.
  • Maintain trucks and trailers to new state or DOT standards.
  • Maintain and repair brakes, braking systems, and all related chassis components.
  • Complete annual inspections.
